Dover Art Prize
Welcome
to the 2010 Dover Prize Art Competition, sponsored by Peggy Nonhebel.
Following the creation of a community art space in the newly refurbished
Darlington Arts Centre, the competition was re-launched as a biennial
event in 2008
The competition,
open to artists living or working in Tees Valley, Durham, Tyne and Wear,
Northumberland and North Yorkshire, is for two-dimensional art work on
the theme of:
‘Atmosphere and Emotion’
1st Prize £500, 2nd Prize £300, 3rd Prize £200
1st prize winner holds the Dover Prize engraved silver salver for two years.
Submission in the first instance will be by photographic image (digital or print) received by 15th March 2010, with selected work, including prize winners, featuring in the Exhibition.
The Dover Prize 2010 Exhibition will be held at;
Darlington
Arts Centre,
Vane
Terrace, Darlington, DL3 7AX.
The exhibition will be in the new Lounge Gallery and Glass Corridor from
15th April to 29th May 2010.
